  1. When you talk about beach volleyball, I have to agree with some of the responses they already gave you.

As an indoor pro-volleyball player you can make an average of $1,000 per month.  It will all depend on the team you play for.  Sometimes you can get the club to pay for your living expenses, such as transportation (a driver), food and housing.  You can also get a bonus for each time your team wins, and special ones for a championship won.

  2. They make more money for their endorsements.  Not to mention they get to wear those skimpy little bikinis to play in.

  3. no actually when they get good enough to get in to tornaments they get quite a bit of mony like in the thousands for one match and then they also have sponsors that pay them for diffent stuff like wearing thier gear and stuff so yeah volleyball players could potentialy make alot of money

  4. I guess it depends.  Kerri Walsh is the #1 player in the world.  In 2005 she came in first 16 times (in the US and internationally) and made $244,500.  However, you have to be a top player to make any money.

  5. Most people are surprised at low professional sports players salaries are. Only Major League Baseball, National Football League and National Basketabll Association players get good money. Almost all other sports make very little.

In pro golf good money can be won, but you have to be great. The average pro makes very little. Likewise in auto racing.
