Is it true that a singing voice can be totally crappy 1 day and be perfect the next?

yea actually its possible like depending on what you drink before you sing like if you drink pop the corn syrup or something in it that produces a lot of thick saliva can make your voice hoarsed drinking water before you sing is better thats what they always told me in chorus and if you have a raspy voice due to strep throat or laramengitus where you cant talk then get over it like the next day when you sing then it can be that too
