That just means, if you stand around waiting for something to happen it seems to take FOREVER. If you have something else to occupy you while you are waiting. . . . BOOM it happens.

Or as Mr Rogers used to sing "Let's think of something to do while we're waiting, anticipating, something new to do . . "

its how it feels....... same thing with toast. Watch and watch and nothing happens....... get distracted for a second and its either boiling over or the toast burns.

It definitely takes longer..especially if you keep taking the lid off. Seems like it will take 4ever for the water 2 boil. I have learned to just start boiling the water, place a lid on it and come back after about 5 minutes. Keeping yourself occupied is the hardest part next to not taking that lid off.

Make sure u remember that you put something on the stove or else you will have a mess on your hands!!
