  1. Please tell me your infant has all of its fingers.  Please.

Because if you're hoping it will grow back before the cops find out: no, no it won't.

  2. Yes, if you're Claire Bennet or Peter Petrelli... or well, Gabriel Sylar (after consuming the brain of one of the first two)

    It takes a few seconds.

  3. WTF?

No.  A human does not grow limbs back that have been severed.

  4. no....but why? limbs dont grow back...im only 11 so i dont know all the details.....

  5. No. Once its gone its gone

  6. infants do have rapid cell division and growth but they are still human and just as an adults limbs do not regenerate nor do an infants.

Infants just heal faster but the end result is still same as an adults- albeit with usually less scar tissue present.

  7. Ha ha ha yeah give it a day or two it will be good as new. Ha ha ha

if you are really serious about this-

im just kidding, no they dont grow back, ever.

  8. if u mean severing it like a lizard's tail, then ****NO it doesn't grow back, what are you ten??be sure and sign up for the class called biology and the one called anatomy and physiology.....please

  9. No. I'm sure amputee's wish limbs could grow back..would make life a lot easier for a lot of people..

  10. um I'm really not sure, why don't you cut your finger off and see.

you know just a quick little controlled experiment, lol.

im kidding please dont really try it,  (hey you never know on here)

of course limbs dont grow back, thats why they made prosthetic ones, ( im pretty sure i disn't spell that right either, but you get the point)

  11. There was a story last year about an adult man being able to grow back his finger tip after it was cut in accident. Check it out:

Limb Regeneration in humans (wikipedia article)

"The man who grew back his finger tip" (WARNING medical video might be gross for some people to watch)

Cutting a whole finger or any limb won't grow back. It's gone for good but they can do limb transplant. They are doing research on this and there have been some surgery done in the past. Google up "limb transplant" about this.
