Is it true that are phones are taped.?

my friend told me that if your talking on a phone and you say some certain words that it will trigger something in the phone lines that record your conversation. is this true?

  1. Well, becase of the homeland security act, that is true to a point - it is legal anyway.

    It is easier to listen in on your CELL phone conversation, and there are people in the NSA that listen to what they call "chatter" that is random phone conversations, random emails, etc.  to week out possible terrorists.

    HOWEVER, you'd have to be talking about some pretty serious things to get noticed and the chances of any random person being noticed are slim - I think they focus in on calls by certain people, to certain people, to certain countries, etc.

    Try not to get too paranoid about big brother watching you - there's nothing you can do about it if they are, and it doesn't do any good to worry.

    who would want to tape your phone conversation [realistically speaking] im sure no one's THAT musch into your convo unless its a stalker but she's lying =]

  4. ive heard that to im not sure if its true or not but try sayin something like blow up and whote house in the same sentence and see if the secret service show up
