Is it true that autographs on those 'plastic' baseballs will fade over time???

I keep them in those UV protected cases. help please

  1. Depends on the pen.  I know if you use a regular ball point pen on a plastic baseball, the ink will bleed in kinda like if you hold a mrker down on paper... it bleeds blurry.    I think if you use a sharpie on a  plastic baseball, the it may fade over time, but not fade away.


  2. well that case should do it. but yes it depends on what type of pen. if it is plastic use a sharpie and that will stay.  if it is a major leauge leather ball use a regular ball point pen.  they wont ever fade for a very very long time.  so as long as you keep it in the case and sharpie on plastic balls you should be good to go.
