If you don't believe in ghosts go ahead and say so but be creative, not trite. No patience with trite people.

  1. In a way, because if you didn't believe in ghosts or demons or gods you wouldn't think something that didn't exist could hurt you.  It's amazing how much damage we can do, physically and otherwise, to ourselves just by holding irrational beliefs.  I recommend against it.

  2. How strong could a ghost possibly be?  Have you ever heard of one hurting someone?

  3. I actually don't think that ghosts have the paranormal powers that some may think. If they do exist, they are probably nothing more than energy recorded and played back. I mean, how could energy really know how you are feeling? I don't think so. Feel safe when around ghosts, even if you are scared! Lol.

  4. Interesting question.

Ghosts are the spirits of people who have passed on and are trapped in this world for some reason or another. So no they don't feed off of fear, but some entities do.  It follows the concept that we all give off energy, and when you are very afraid, you give off a slightly different vibration.

Some entities are able to "feed" off that energy and absorb it into themselves. This does make them stronger, however, they still will never have a physical body, so the amount of strength they would gain and the power is limited.

    I hope that helps. :)

  5. Entity, ghost, spirit, apparition are all the conscious energy that was left from a living person after they have died. .

but there is a difference and this is why...

A ghost is someone who has passed on and is "stuck" between the physical world and the Afterlife. They do not cross through The Light to go on to the Afterlife, but stick around in this "netherworld" for one reason or another.

A spirit is a person who has passed on, but has actually gone through The Light and into the Afterlife. There they go through a life review learning process, and after that, are able to come and go between the Afterlife and our physical world.

Spirits come back to watch over us, and to comfort us. Ghosts do not.

Poltergeist is a form of ghost activity where they are unhappy. They usually feed off our fear. To seek our attention they resort to activities in the physical plane like throwing objects. They also known to hide things and then when the person is going crazy looking for it, they make it appear in another place. A poltergeist is basically manifested by a human but unconsciously. Usually created by someone who has just been through a tragedy or is going through one.

Watch the movie An American Haunting, or if you already have you know that the young girl is getting molested by her father, well she creates this Poltergeist that continually attacks her because of her own fears and to what's happening to her. The movie gives you a good description of a Poltergeist.

So with that being said, the only thing that can feed off our fear is a Poltergeist. I believe that a ghost or spirit can become angry and enraged but not by our fear but for other reasons such as you living in their home (remodeling a home tends to anger them as they seem to believe it still belongs to them),  or digging up old Indian burial sites, etc.

  6. Addressing the topic of ghosts without being trite is difficult. After all ghosts are a superstition as old as time. There's nothing new to learn or say about them.Just the same old recycled stuff.

The answer is yes.The strength of a ghost increases with fear. The strength decreases as fear and belief levels decline.Ghosts strength completely disintegrates when the belief in them does.

  7. It is quite possible to be afraid of something imaginary. If you allow yourself to be afraid of an imaginary being such as a ghost, you are giving in to negative thoughts, so the power of the imaginary being becomes greater. But as ghosts have no reality, any increase or decrease in strength is entirely in the mind of the believer.

  8. thats what they say.it supposedly is drawn to and feeds off the negative energy that fear puts out. i think ive heard though mostly..non human entities are like that.

  9. If you have the secret by Rhonda Byrne you would know you attract What you think off. So, when you are afraid of ghosts you mostly encountering them.. But if you have nice thoughts you kicking away the fear and you get what you think of according to what the author named law of attraction.

  10. Yeah sort of. You're giving it the power to make you afraid, thereby giving it power over YOU.

  11. Fear causes breaches of all kinds as regards anything one can meet with in life.  Fear, second only to anger is perhaps the most corrosive of all forces that one can possess within oneself.

Fear tends to put, say, pock marks in the protective sheath ( or aura) around the person and leaves one open to a draining of one's energy.  Such is likened to weakening of one's bodily immune system as caused by weakening the body's defenses that otherwise can ward off bacteria and viruses.

And so fear causes imbalances to the inflow and outflow of forces both external and internal, because there must be fair exchanges between your outer and inner construction and operations, and is the reason why one must keep oneself healthy and active, to keep it in condition to face harmful microbes and build and develop defense against them.

    Do you see?  'Nothing fancy.

So -- can fear of ghosts increase its strength? -- well, in principle as outlined above, the answer is yes as a general rule and as regards all things one may face in this life.  Stay in shape and stand clear of the things that "turn you off."  And do not consciously and willingly do those things that turn others off.

    'See? -- balance.

I would not get too bent out of shape as regards ghosts, however.  Simply don't own to a fear.  Step out doors into the fresh air and displace any fears with braveries prompted by things you have interest in and enjoy doing.  The fears will surely fizzle into nothingness.  Have fear only where fear is founded and to keep you well and alert and alive.  'That' is healthy fear!  See?

  12. good question. I'm not sure as to the answer. i suppose it would. i believe in ghosts and poltergeists and demons.

  13. Yes, fear feeds fear. However, being that there is nothing to fear aside from fear itself, then you are safe!
