  1. It used to be sooooo beautiful!!! So pristine and not a lot of noise and tourists. But the downside is, there wasnt a lot of things to do, and night life wasnt that great.

Enter the 90s and the new millenium. Great bars (Bongo's, Cocomanga's, Pier One, Club Paraw, etc), international cuisine, fabulous resorts, and cheap air fares too!!!

I guess its not as pristine as before, but its still got my vote as the best beach (finest white sand ive seen anywhere, and a very gentle sloping shore) in the world. And the nightlife and activities are fantastic!

And just in case youre looking for spots that are quiet and "virgin", there are a few spots around boracay island that can offer you that :)

    My fave resto: Manyana

Place to stay: I opt for small unknown room for rents as they are quite cheap and have the basic necessities: clean beds, clean bathroom (w/ towels), hotshower, TV, aircon and a ref.

Bar: All the bars are great, but youve got to go to Cocomangas. Its not the cleanest bar around, nor is the music as good as the others, but their drinks are cheap and their pizza is great! Plus, you can try the famous cocomangas shots and earn a place in their wall of fame!

If you want good pictures of boracay go to pbase.com/jaizel and find the folders for boracay and return to boracay.

  2. That's what i hear too maybe we could go together huh? :) naw sorry i dont have a answer for u but i just wanted to put my two cents in...

  3. yes boracay is a very beautiful island. white sand that makes the water look like a swimming pool. :-) i went there 8 years ago but unfortunately stayed overnight only. but for sure there are a lot of restaurants out there especially at night where you can dine out, just take your pick. there are three stations there with different kinds of lodging depending on your budget. i think station 1 has the most expensive lodgings.

  4. No, Boracay is not a Paradise. It is a Resort, white sand beaches, lot of amenities, they have also good food and nice Hotels too. I was there 2003, I enjoyed my stay and the hospitality of the natives. I'm going back this year.
