Question:

Is it true that change in climate causes ur period to change as well?

like if ur traveling to a different part of the world where its hotter and u stay there for about a month, is it true that ur period will come a little earlier than the regular 28 days? and when u change back to the colder climate, will it also change to come earlier? ive experienced this several times when traveling.

  1. I’m not a woman, nor a true scientist (I’m an engineer), but I think I can answer this one at least tangentially.

    Our bodies have a lot of chemical processes. The speed at which these processes happen is at least partially determined by temperature. (At absolute zero, no chemical reactions can happen, if I’m not mistaken.)

    At too high of a temperature, a human can die.

    So if the weather changes and a the temperature chances with it, there should be some effect on your body, and possibly your period as well. How drastic this is, I cannot answer. I imagine it's mostly minor, as your bodies temperature does not change that much even if the weather is drastically different.
