Is it true that clovers are the first thing to grow after an area has been bombed ?

I wouldn't say it is a reliable thing.  Clover is certainly fast-growing, and has hardy seeds, so this ups the odds.  However, if there was not any clover in the area before the bombing, you won't get clover magically showing up after.  Clover seeds also don't blow around well at all, so in bombed areas, the first things to grow will likely be weeds that have windblown seeds, like dandelions.
