When I drink coffee, people say it will stop my growth.

  1. Never heard that before, but I can tell you this: While you are growing, it is very bad to use lifting to build up a lot of muscle mass because it stunts your bone growth. So don't do it. That came directly from my doctor. I wouldn't worry about the coffee. Enjoy yourself.

  5. As far as caffeine stunting one's growth, this is a myth. Scientists have had many concerns about this possible side effect, but thus far there has not been any research to support it.

  6. No, my husband is 6'2" and he has drunk coffee all his life. If it did stop him from growing I'd hate to see how tall he would have been if he hadn't drank coffee.
