  1. pseudo-science, that isn't true at all.

  2. no it doesn't matter your body will adjust the temperature of the water to body heat no matter what.

  3. Never heard of that.  I was told many years ago, when I lived in Egypt that it was not good to drink ice cold water if your body is overheating.  On a really hot day, I was told to drink room temperature water.  Hope this helps.

  4. It doesn't really matter...actually I've heard that cold water is better for your digestive system especially after you eat, because your stomach feels pain and you go to the bathroom and it makes it easier for you to digest.

  5. It depends on the timing. Drinking LOTS of water at the same time as eating dilutes the acids that that stomach uses for digestion, and this might slow down the absorption of nutrients.

Drinking water between meals is better.

  6. Junk science.

It'll heat up to 98.6 F. in your gut.

  7. No, everything is all the same temperature by the time it reaches your stomach.  Your digestive system spends all its time submerged in ACID, it's not terribly fragile

  8. Not at all.

  9. Yes, especially after you eat.

  10. No, that's not true.

However, the U.S. Army studied various effects of water temperature and found that dehydration was reduced when men were provided with chilled water versus warm water. The effect was that reluctant water drinkers consumed more water when it was chilled.
