  1. i have no idea but i dont see how they can be prejudice against someone cause thier perents called them Jack :)

  2. guessing that would fall under some EOE regulations.  They might have to call you by your given name, since Jack is usually a nickname.  If this isn't a serious question I highly suggest you adding this to your comedy routine because it made me giggle a little bit.  Maybe you can refine the joke and you'll get a full blown LOL from me.

  3. They could hire him, but they'd have to say "Hello, Jack" instead of "Hi, Jack".  Such a weird world since 9/11, but oh well...

  4. I think its  just a joke, my dear.  Is your brother wanting to be a pilot?  If yes, and you're still worried that the joke might be true, then start calling him a different name or nickname now.  So they wont say " bye, Jack" when he applies for work.

What about the airline passengers whose names are Jack?  Are they banned from travelling via airplanes for the same reason?

That's a lot of Jack  jokes!

  5. I doubt this is true, but very funny.

  6. I may not know jack, but I know this isn't true.

    Not a bad joke, though.

  7. for the same reason that chuck is never allowed to be sung in the name game song, OK so now that show's my age here.

Sorry for the odd humor. ;)

    Have a wonderful day!!!

  8. Yes they will hire you and they cannot discriminate against you for your name.

  9. C'mon.
