  1. humans have metal in their teeth and their shoes.dogs can smell moisture during a storm and can probably sense potential charge in an area.

  3. Actually, dogs are less likely to get struck then Humans because they are closer to the ground.  But there is still a chance a dog may get hit, but most likely it would be indirectly.  Like if it was standing under a tree or something
