  1. Not true at all.....

I mean I have my own share of eavesdropping and I hear both good and bad about me. When I hear something good, it flatters me to the point that I almost think I'm the best person in the world. Other times though, when I hear something bad, I regret doing the deed, eavesdropping that is and I'm back to my philosophical self about things you don't know won't hurt you...lol

  2. That i think is the reason why they always eavesdrop.

They have this tendencies to look only for the negative in every conversation that they hear.

  3. This is the first time I heard this saying.

Probably not true.   They only flatter themselves, these eavesdroppers.  So much more worthy things to talk about than people who know no better than to eavesdrop.

  4. with the advent of recording devices, eavesdropper are more likely to hear themselves snore.  hehehe  jok jok jok

  5. People who eavesdrop usually do so because they don't believe that they are hearing the truth about themselves through direct conversations with people.

So yes, they are more likely to hear something unflattering that the speaker would be reluctant to say to their faces.

  6. yes, gossipers and people who tend to criticize people a lot hate themselves and hear nothing good about who they are so they want to vent it on others, its like when a person always thinks another person is ugly, its because deep inside that is what she thinks she is.
