  1. "If a tree falls in a forest and there's no one around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

  2. thay can do and accompanying them with silence can make them stronger still. gestures can be miscomprehended in the most positive fashion the person gestured to can interpret them.

  3. YES.

  4. I'm not sure about the first part -I think the meaning of the gesture is often fully intended (even if it isn't blatantly obvious to all). In fact, the meaning of a gesture might even be underestimated by those who view them.

The second part I agree with -a gesture is wasted if there's nobody around to see & interpret it. Gestures should be for the benefit of others -if not, why should one bother to gesture?

  5. The meaning of a gesture also varies widely among cultures.

  6. CONSIDER THE HAND GESTURES OF EGON SCHIELE HIMSELF AND THE HAND GESTURES OF HIS PAINTINGS.

    MINUS THE VAGIN, COKS, BRESTS.

WHAT DO THE 'so called ART CRITICS OR EXPERT WANNABES' SAY ABOUT THIS.
