Question:

Is it true that greeks dont like Italian people? and if is so why is that (not godfather stereotype plz)?

my general hat is a lie..i am from the south and i can assure you we are the warmest friendlier and honest compare to one from other region...only few parts of tha south are "dangerous" and this issue is always been exagerating from the media...come to the south and you will find out how we are in real...:)

  1. no not true.

    the greeks and italians are very friendly. unless very old hatred is to be spoken of such as the ancient greeks and the romans

    however the greeks and turkish are meant to hate each other. I'm lead to believe its over the occupation of cyprus


  2. So totally not true. Whoever told you that are lying. Have you ever heard of the saying "Una ratsa una fatsa"? Greeks and Italians have a very friendly realationship both their governments and their people because of special bond they share based upon their countries cultures and history.

  4. Quite the opposite. We Greeks like Italian people a lot, we consider them the closest to us in terms of mentality, temperament and culture. And we also consider them very beautiful.  

  5. when i was staying at a Greek campsite years ago...the Greek owner told us that nobody liked the Italians from Southern Italy because they stole things....we were warned to put our possessions away at night.

    i don't know if this is true...but i would think he had had experience of this to tell other holidaymakers.
