Is it true that half the teenagers wreck their first car?

half seems kinda high but teenagers are most dangerous. sometimes in an accident you can be very responsible and still be involved because of others.

no. In your first year driving you are more likley to get in a crash, but not half of the teenagers in the world wreck their frist car. Being responcible helps, watch what goes on around you and your car will most likley be fine.

yes because they drive fast and they dont watch what they are doing. its ok tho everyone went threw teenager driver. just dont look at the radio and look at the road.

l find this very true cause they know no better then to speed all the time and they don`t obey the rules of the road ahead

I'm not sure if it's half of teenagers, but it's a lot.  Most of my friends wrecked or did considerable damage to their first car within two years of getting them.  I guess I'm lucky though, because I never did anything to my car (except hit a traffic cone that had fallen on the freeway, that was unavoidable and I had to pay $200 to fix my front bumper).  But I waited to get my license until I was 18.  Being responsible is obviously a big plus, but a lot of times accidents are just unavoidable. And no matter what, you don't have the experience with driving nor the knowledge you acquire after having been a driver for several years.  It's just a fact, so the best you can do for yourself is to follow the rules and not take risks.  And that holds true for any age group of drivers.  Good luck!
