ok so I had a leftover Burger King burger, and I stuck in the microwave to heat it up for lunch. My brother stopped me and said that heating mayo can be dangerous for your health.

Now I just wanted to know if this was true before eating it.

  1. There is no problem other than it gets soggy and kinda dried out. It is safe to eat.

  2. When I make grilled sandwiches in the frying pan, instead of butter (which turns greasy and burns the bread easily), I spread mayo on the bread.........and I get a pretty blonde sandwich with no mayo taste.

You can't leave mayo products out of a refrigerated unit or a cold pack chest.........then you can get sick.........but heating it you won't.

  3. Only if you allowed it to sit out unrefrigerated for more than an hour...and the microwaving will actually kill any bacteria.

  4. not if it was properly refrigerated before microwaving.

  5. No its fine, just don't leave the sandwich sitting out for a while.

I'm pregnant and on occasion have Subway toast my sub with mayo on it, its really good, and it won't hurt you!! lol

  6. I don't think it's a problem, I think it just tastes nasty.

  7. I don't think so because everytime i had potatoe salad (which has mayo in it) and i don't like it cold i heat it up in the microwave for a little bit i feel fine for the rest of the day.

Don't believe everything you hear once on the news and im telling you what i heard, "that laughing is good for you", but everytime i laugh too much I start coughing bad. mmm that good congestion. lol till u croak :)
