Is it true that humans have built dams and other devices that have change the earths axis?

on discory channel something was said about a dam in china that when full it will change the axis of the planet. and about the atomic bomb that russia detonated having the same sort of outcome. If this is true would this have some kind of effect on our climate.

Some people have already entertained the idea that the axis are shifting and that would be why the climate is changing. However no amount of force could be exerted on the planet  by man to change the axis.

Dams and bombs cannot change earth's axis and does not cause change to climate.

They will change the political axis, possibly, but not the physical one.  Man can not shift enough mass around on this planet to alter its movements.

Interesting, I'd like to hear more about the theory. It sounds possible. A lot of people in this section are closed minded to the extent man can effect his/her environment. As for whether it is true or not than dams and other devices can change the axis of the earth I am open to hearing the different possibilities.

Part of my answer may be contingent on what other devices out there are they talking about. There are many strange and powerful scientific devices out there, including ones called particle smashers that some claim could create mini black holes (killer strangelets) and destroy the earth.
