Is it true that if u dont ever shave you're legs the hairs wont grow back?

my mom tells me that i shouldnt shave my legs, and the hair will eventually go away. she said thats wat she did, and her legs have no hair at all. her mother told her the same thing, but she didnt listen about the armpit hair and she now has to shave those. i want to kno if its true. i dont think my mothers lying, because she doesnt have that many shaving items, only the one for her armpits. im asian, and that fact might make a difference. so is this true?

hair is hair, whether you are asian, white, black, hispanic, etc.  Hair grows at its roots and will always grow unless you take those drastic measures and surgeries that destroy the hair follicles

i dont think that true, although genetics and all do make a big difference, prolly have less hair..but none at all? ..thats a bit....odd, to say the least

Hey...i never heard of this.

But i can tell you that if you shave your legs, hair will grow back faster than if you wax. N ya...waxing will, over a period of time, reduce your hair growth....so the choice is yours.

its true wit ur arms and legs.. once u start shaving off, they start growing denser.. i dont remove them from my arms and dont have them.. but i did remove from my legs and i have to wax it each time.. Armpits r another story.. u have to remove them off... no other go

no i dont think it is a girl in my class doesnt shave under the arms and its SOOO GROOSSS   especially when swimming
