Finding a penny no matter which side is up is definitely not luck, Finding a dollar is luck, and finding a double eagle is definitely very lucky....

was with my mom at a casino and she found a nickle, heads up.

and won five hundred dollars on the first machine she played after picking up the nickle.

as for pennies, if you find one tails up, don't just leave it, flip that thing over so someone else can find it. its bad luck to take one thats tails up, so help someone else out...

In fact, my old drawing teacher used to say that if you find a penny tails up -- leave it.  I'm too poor to, but that was what my teacher said.
