Is it true that if you freeze a bee alive and thaw it out with a magnifying glass that it will still be alive?

I was watching Roseanne and they did it on there so just wondering if anybody knew if that was true or not. Weird I know.

  1. Well if they can freeze butterflies and use them for parties i guess they could freeze any kind of bug.

  4. It depends how long you keep it frozen. If you stick it in long enough for it to "freeze" and stop moving then pull it back out, it will come back to life. If you keep it in for like a day or something, it shouldn't come back. I have this experience with working with mosquitoes. We trap them, freeze them, then identify them under microscopes and we fill waste baskets of them and leave them in the lab over night. There are only like 3 every morning that resurrect themselves in the morning. Haha thank goodness it's not 3000.
