  4. I think you will find somebody has been winding you up. not Even on a flag day would this work.

  5. No, No, you can not. To take extra precaution, make a copy of your passport and put this somewhere else like in your suitcase and an extra copy in your wallet or purse. That way you will be covered. I lost mine last year for about 4 hours. It fell out of my pocket on the airplane and between the seats. On the 3rd check and a return flight, it was found, thank God. If I did not find it, I would have had to go back home as I was on my way to Australia. Now, I make copies.
