Is it true that if you sleep an hour a day for a month you lose weight?

My dad told me it's the best way to lose weight.

I'm 5'5 and 13 and I have a really really skinny upper body but then my thighs are really thick which makes my butt big and it looks really out of proportion because my upper body's model thin.

I've been so depressed this month because of my thighs how can I get skinny thighs???

  1. if you sleep more you would have more energy to move around so if you want skinnier thighs jus use a wheel chair for a while lol


  2. Ok If you think about it, YOU ARE 13 YEARS OLD!  When I was 13 I was the same way. My thighs were very big and my upper body small. Now I'm 20 and I look fine. You don't need to lose that weight because in about a year your upper body will develop (your b***s) and you will look fine. I went through the same thing. Just go to the Gym and work on your upper body. Do some crunches and sit-ups. Do some kind of weight lifting or something to that effect to make your arms a little stronger. That's all you need to do. And of coarse just wait until you fully develop to complain about that kind of stuff.

      It is recommended to get 6-7 hours of sleep a night. If you get any more or less, You will either be over-tired from sleeping too much or under tired for not sleeping enough. Under-tired or Over-tired, You will still be very sleepy. If you are not getting enough sleep then try to sleep when you can for as long as you missed in sleep. Like say if you got 5 hours of sleep last night, then you want to take a nap for about an hour or 2. That's the best advise I can give you. Hope it helps and good luck.

    but i ahve the same problem too and i talk and complain to my mom all the time about it.. it's probably the inside part of your thighs that are big and chinky right??

    my mom is studying to be a doctor and she tells me that eveeryone ahs that.. i' ma cheerelader and very muscular but i can't loose that extra weight..

    don't starve yourself...

    and no i dont' think that works becauxse it can mess up your brain cells

    just do some squats and lunges with some handweights..

    go to a gym get a personal trainer...


  6. Do exersizes that just work on toning up your thighs. Maybe post another question 'exersizes to tone thighs'. Because I don't know any just like this. All I know is cycling helps. Maybe cycling to school, or round the park with friends, I did that today!
