  1. I don't think so.  I've been a makeup addict since I was a teenager and I look a lot younger than I am.  In fact, about a month ago, I told someone my age and when she refused to believe me, I had to show her my driver's license.  Some people think makeup actually helps your skin by protecting it from sun and dirt.  As long as you don't trowel it on and you remove it gently but thoroughly each night, you should be okay.  Smoking and a bad diet are probably more aging to the skin than makeup.

  2. If the makeup is loaded with chemicals, then yeah. Use organic makeup.

  3. Yes if you wore makeup at a young age at 17 you will look older then your age.

  4. No...they say wearing makeup helps to protect skin from the elements that cause aging (such as the sun)....just remember to wash it off well!

  5. Certain makeup does ruin your skin and cause skin irritability, but the true reason is if you wear make up from a young age and always wear it,people will get used to you wearing it and when you take it off the reaction is like not good

  6. you will be fine as long as you wash and moisturize your face at night.  take care!

  7. No its only true if you dont wash it off before bed. I am 31 and have been wearing makeup since I was 12 I look just fine, but for the past 2 years I wear very little makeup. :)

  8. Yes, because it ruins your skin.

People can claim that things like Bare Minerals doesn't do that, but even it will take its toll over time.

  9. ma frendz 9 and she weres mak up evryday ae

  10. no, wearing makeup will not make your skin age faster, if that's what you're asking. in fact, some types of makeup have sunscreen or other sun barriers in them that can help prevent skin damage from the sun, so in a sense, some makeup might keep your skin healthier...

  11. it will make you look older and if you dont use an age breaker or any skin care you will look like a old prune, sorry but it is true

  12. My mom had a friend who, in her late teens/early twenties, looked way older, like 30s older. But then my mom saw her recently and she had on like, no make-up, and she said she looked way younger then ever

  13. That's what my mom told me!

  14. lol i dont think so make up doesn't change your skin just covers it lol but tanning a lot does my stepdads sister use to tan all the time when she younger and now shes like 30 and looks 40

  15. Well duh your going to look older when you age unless your injecting yourself with htrt but makeup won't have anything to do with it unless its got poison or something in it.

  16. For the most part, I would say absolutely not. However, many makeups do have chemicals in them, and I suppose it is possible that these chemicals could damage your skin over time. Also, if you don't wash the makeup off well before bed, it could clog your pores and cause all kinds of skin problems that might also add to a look of age eventually.

Overall, I really wouldn't worry about it at all.

  17. Yes, very true, you touch and rub  and put on all the chemicals and in time like the sun, u will have damage, I am a hairdresser/ makeup artist, and I see it every day, a lot of woman only in their 30's going in for durmi abrasion. well that is so unnecessary, but they messed up the delicate face skin, it is awful, seen it all over the yrs.  Use lipstick and go easy on the face.. there is plenty of time  for makeup, learn how to apply it the right way.  good luck.
