  1. it always seems like people worry about their lives so much I wish people who understand not everything is a loaded gun like the news would tell us Dont worry to much about it live life

  2. there will be some crazy person who decides we are all going to die so he does something absurd and causes the mass destruction

  3. According to the ancient calendars --- the last day will be in 2012.   They carved that info in a big rock.   I would not pay any attention to such rubbish...

  4. If we'll all be dead, what does it matter?!

  5. Pictures of the calender:

  6. I've never heard of it. It doesn't sound very likely.

  7. The year came from a couple sources. The big one was a Mayan Calender that has so far predicted things like the JFK assassination, both world wars, and even 9/11. This Mayan Calender is rumored to list every major event so far. Just like any other calender, it ends. The year it ends is 2012.

To be honest I think this is about as likely as y2k. History repeats itself so it will probably be more of the same thing.

  8. There's absolutely no way to know... and imo it's silly to worry about.  We could all be blown into oblivion by a comet or the sun randomly exploding... tomorrow!  So... the most important thing is to never waste a second of your life... and then it gets into messier subjects like "where are we going when we die?"

  9. and where did you get this deduction from?? cause I wanna know too....

  10. First this date does come from the Mayan calender.

Second, the Mayan calender did not predict anything.

Third, the Mayans watched the stars and what the Mayans did believe was that in the winter solstice of 2012 the open space in the sky (there is an area in space that has much fewer stars than the rest of the seen universe) would align with the center of the milky way creating (in their belief) a doorway to the other world, and that at that point in time one could then cross over from this world into the next one (it is presumed that the "other world" is the land of the dead). No where does it predict the end of the world.

Everyone thought that Armageddon would happen  in the beginning seconds of the year 2000, but, of course, it didn't. Then there was a rush to grab the next dooms day date and the Mayan calender must have seemed to be the best place to start. Rest assured when 2012 comes and goes, these doom Sayers will be scrambling for another date.

  11. No this is absolutely untrue. This comes out of a misunderstanding of a calendar used by one ancient people, the Mayans. One cycle of their calendar ends on a certain date corresponding to a day in 2012. The world is not going to end, we are not going to die. Relax and forget about it.

  12. its preety much your beief people say y2k may happen or global warming but you neever know that is why you soudl leave life to the fullest and dont be afraid to take chances it may or may not happen but dont think about it just live life!
