  1. Hi,

If white plays perfect play then white will win.  What happens in practice is that white does not play 100% but say 97% and this can lead to a draw or a loss.  In general, the advantage goes to the player who has the first move in chess ie, white is always one move ahead of black from the start of the game and hence the initial starting advantage.  You may like to visit my personal web page - link below?  I hope this is helpful for you.

    Yours sincerely,

  2. yes it is...in case that two players with the same experience, play against eachother white has the first move, always...so there is a better chance that white to win..

  3. no it donsen't matter what color.  It all depends on the player.

  4. Steinitz one of the greatest grandmasters ever summed it up this way:

"When I play as White I win cause I am white, when I play as Black I win because I play the better game."

Simply stated if both players are equal white will win, if white is the stronger player, white will win, still if black is the stronger player Black still wins. Playing as white just allows you to choose which type of game it will be.

  5. white just starts first

  6. yes because it starts first

  7. Statistically white has a small advantage according the chess databases.  But, a game is more often than not decided by the strength of the two protagonists.

  8. Yes, white has the initiative and determines which direction the game goes. White determines if the game will be open, semi-open, or closed and is also able to develop one step ahead of his opponent. This is a relatively small advantage however.

  9. I don't think so. Depends on the player and the moves.

  10. Only if the more smarter player picks white!:)

  11. Only if that's the color that the better player picks.

  12. If both players are of equal talent then moving 1st is an advantage.  In high level chess tournaments black is usually playing for the draw.  It would be rare in a championship match for black to win any game.

  13. false

  14. Not true.

Because if you are Champion ,

    You are Champion.......Get IT.

  15. not necessarily by white going first it to some extent allows black to see a piece of whites strategy first and plan accordingly.

  16. dude it's not the color but the strategy used , i'm best played in black .......wanna play against me .
