  1. NO that is absolutely false! For one Sea Worlds water is Salt Water with absolutely no chlorine. Sea World takes very good care of their animals and receive little credit!  They rescue animals and keep them in extremely good conditions!

  2. no its not true.

  3. i really dont know, why dont  you try and contact them? if they do, then thats a shame

  4. *****Absolutely untrue.  These animals were rescued and are treated with the utmost of care in a salt water environment.

I work as a voluteer for a marine aquarium here in Florida, and we have email updates daily on the needs of each animal.  Recently, we have had 24 hour monitoring for a dolphin who wasn't eating enough.

I am part of the SCUBA team, and we scrub every square inch of their tanks by hand every week.  The animals were saved from a variety of situations. (fishing nets, amputees etc..)  We have trainers that work with doctors and monitor every aspect of the animals.  We always accept questions and visits from the public as a way to raise money to support the facility and educational programs in biology and environmental awareness.

BE PROUD that such places exist to help these wonderful creatures.

I'm honored to be able to dive with them and learn about them.  Not everyone gets to swim with dolphins and sharks like I do.

Each area even has different dillutions of salt water based upon individual needs, and we must follow procedures so as not to cross-contaminate any tank after exiting another.

If someone were harming these animals, I would personally harm them in any way I could!
