Is it true that in some South American nations, their is still a three tiered power structure?

Mestizo-middle class

Indigenous-lower class

If so, than which countries (just curious)

  2. I would say this structure is no longer remaining in:

    Peru

    Bolivia

    Ecuador

    But an important part of Indigenous people could be considered in the low class economic group.

    The economic or power difference between Criollos and Mestizos is no longer marked as it was on the age of the Spainard Colony.
