Is it true that it takes the average gymnast a year to go up a level? If not, on average how long does it?

i did gymnastics when i was 4-13 & got to a level 6 by the time i was 11.

i really depends on you. how much you train a day. who's your coach & how far you want to advance in the sport.

i don't know how they are grading now since the "10" has been replaced by difficulty & execution scores.

I was a gymnast and last year i quit but usually you have to be in a level for 2 years, but if you get a certain amount of points in a competion like 1st Place overall then you can move up a level.
