Not necessarily. If it seems fishy . then it is  a scam. But you can sign up for things and get a virus ditector so it can alert you when things are trying scam you. But trying free samples is always safe. Its basically your sites. But be careful and read everything and even ask yahoo answers if they have ever done "____" whatever your trying to do and if its safe.
