  1. Who you used to be is part of who you are now, but who you are now is pretty special.  


  2. If it is present tense it is "who you are" and if it is past then it is "who you were". Hope i could help

  3. you had to be who you were to get to who you are, they are equally important.  Eventually who you are now will be just another who you were.    What is important is to always be making progress.

  4. I always believe that you never know where your going until you know where you've been. Part of life is to learn and grow. I can safely say that I know things today that I didn't yesterday. I learn, then I adapt, and then I become who I am. But to answer your question on which is more important, well let me answer that with a question of my own; If you hadn't had the experiences that you've had in your past then would you be who you are today? Who you were is AS important as who you are. What matters most is who you're going to be.
