  1. Certainly is true, but you'll need patience. Beer also works aswell (not drinking it lol but putting it on your hair)

  2. Yeah.

  3. Lemon juice has a citrus ACID activator. If more heat added then it will burn. Meaning if you go to the sun more often it will lighten.

  4. I think it does, but i don't think it's a very good idea for you're hair, it will damage it because of the acid.

If you want to lighten up your hair, use sunlight dish washing liquid, it actually works, I've used it before, or dandruff shampoo, like head and shoulders, that works good too, but this only works if your hair is dyed.

  5. What you have to do is after you wash your hair squeeze a lemon or lemons in your hair (I used to do a 1 to 1 solution of lemons and water in a spray bottle).  you then go and sit out in the sun and wait.  It is not an instant process but a gradual one.  If your hair is dark it will not go blond, but red first.

I will discourage you from doing this process as it will strip the protective natural oils from your hair.  Prolonged applications will make your hair coarse, brittle and unmanageable.  Your best bet is to go to a salon and have a professional lighten your hair for you.

  6. yeah its true, ur supposed to spray it in ur hair and sit in the sun for a while and repeat it until u see the results u want, but the acid really isnt good for ur hair and can fry it/ make it brittle. if u have dark hair like i do it will most likely make it orangeish. i dont recomend doin it . i was gona do it this summer but i decided not to. if u like ur hair, doooont do it.

  7. Yes but only on sunny days :)

  8. in order to make it lighter you have to stnad in the sun for quite a whilee!

  9. thats wut ive heard........

  10. yeah, if you sit out in the sun

just remember to do a test piece to make sure you are not bleaching it too badly. My mom did it when she wa a kid, not realizing that she had some red in her dark hair. That, and she stayed outside too long.It turned bright orange. I personally can't use this technique because I know I have red in my hair as well, and my school has some whacked out rules on hair color.
