  1. No don't be ignorant.

  2. In theory, I suppose they could, women who can't have children and adopted have successfully breastfed. Just from the power of wanting to. Men have the same hormones present, and the same anatomy, just in different quantities.

    But, just because they could,doesn't mean that they should? thats just asking for all sorts of trouble, like the man that gave birth. What, you want a world without women? Ugg...

  3. Some medications have the side effect of making men produce milk.

    And in the future, with the right hormonal meds, it might be that men can brestfeed routinely (we have all the right plumbing, and nipples!).

    But that's a few decades away.

  4. Men have mammary glands

    Men have all the same hormones as women just in different amounts

    Women who have never been pregnant can induce lactation for adopted babies (or even for their male partner this is called an adult nursing relationship)

    Some medications have the side effect of producing milk in both men and women.

    Scientists are very hopeful about isolating stem cells in breastmilk because each human (male or female) could then easily make their own and therefore not have to worry about matching donors.

  5. Well that is a very reliable site so if it says that it's possible, then i guess it is. Your question should be - Has any man out there tried to breastfeed?" but i don't think you would get many responses.

  6. I'm sure it's possible if you give the right hornmones to them. these days anything is possible. Crazyyy..

  7. Yes:

    The man hold the baby.

    Direct the baby's mouth the the breast (of the mother)

    The baby suck it

    Done.

  8. they can try, but nothing will come out

  9. i don't know about men, i don't think they have the right hormones, but i know that any woman, even a woman who has never had a baby, can breast feed.  it's a function of having b*****s.  technically men also have b*****s, although i don't know if they have milk ducts, like women do.  maybe with hormone treatment, it might be possible.

    have a look at the link i included - interesting stuff!

    good luck!

  10. women wish that was true don't we

  11. Ew gross!

    milk is produced in the mother's breast when she is pregnant....

    and if a man is willing to take medication to be able to breast feed....what's the point in breast  feeding?!?!  it wont have the same nutrients that a natural mother's milk wil have....

  12. No.  That's a stupid question.

  13. Yes, kinda.

  14. I have heard that in times of great need that men can lactate.

    I ran a simple google search and found a few articles that state that men can indeed breastfeed.

  15. NO! and why would they want to breast feed, when a woman can do a better job.

  16. yes that can they have to be on hormones ( these are the same hormones some women take if they are going to adopt so that they can  breast-feed there adopted babies and share the bond.. I wouldn't recommend it unless eh wants man b***s his whole life hehehe ..

    there is actually an African tribe that take the babies out in slings while the mother stay at camp and when the babies get hungry they put them to there breast ( no milk comes out) just to bond and pacify them... I want to be in that tribe!!!!!!

  17. Yes they can, so can a woman that doesn't have kids.....life is grand isn't it???

  18. Yes, men can breastfeed.  They have mammary glands just like women.  Nursing stimulates the production of prolactin to make milk.  Men and women both have prolactin.

        * Males: 2 - 18 ng/mL

        * Non-pregnant females: 2 - 29 ng/mL

        * Pregnant women: 10 - 209 ng/mL

    Men ARE capable of breastfeeding and wouldn't necessarily need to take hormones to do so.  Women waiting to adopt a baby can pump and have a fairly decent milk supply by the time the baby is born.  Men can do the same.

  19. Milk production is brought about in women due to a hormone produced in the body. Men don't have this hormone and so can't breastfeed, no.

  20. omg how old r u ?

  21. Only if you take out your breast and they hold it for the lucky little kid.

  22. R u serious????????  You have got to be kidding me.  this is a joke right?????

  23. Only if the milk is pumped into a bottle from the mother. That article is shocking and silly. Ignore it!
