Is it true that no two Mini Coopers are the same?

A friend of mine says that every Mini Cooper manufactured is uniquely different than the one made before it. Different meaning that the interior may be a unique color, or a different paintjob. Is there a source that verifies this?

The answer above is incorrect. It is highly unlikely for any mini cooper to be the same as another one. When you order a mini cooper they give you a list to choose from that can make 10,000,000 possible configurations, so it is possible that if you compared 20,000,000 mini cooper owners that 2 of them would have the exact same car...but it is still not very likely. All the info i've told you can be verified on mini cooper's site (www.miniusa.com) just go to "build your own" and it tells you all about the different configurations. To clarify, yes there are probably two mini's that are exactly the same, but the probability of two people choosing the exact same Mini is 1 in 10 million, so in theory two people out of every 20 million would have the same car. But that would be impossible because the fact is there are not even 10 million mini coopers in existence.

That is not true.

Mini Coopers are made according to what the people want.

So there are lots of combinations of colors and options that the Mini has.

But there are lots of identical Mini' s in colors and looks and options.

Many people just get basic Mini' s instead of ordering it with different options because the options arevery expensive.

No its not true. However, in theory it could be true due to the countless different paint, interior and options combinations. If each car was made using every possible combination just once then there would be more Mini's than owners.

not true...if 2 people order the same car..they both get identical cars...and often a run of popular colors and options are done to go sit on lots...its cheaper for mini to make a run of the same cars
