I'm not asking if it kills you, but is it true that if you get help fast enough it wont happen? Or just help period. Like, over dosing on pain killers wont exactly kill you, it will just rush you to the emergency room, correct?

  1. correct. i overdosed on 90 Tylenols and i didnt even go to the hospital.

but if the dosage is lethal then you would go to the hospital and they would pump your stomach.

  2. enough of them WILL kill u thats a fact! but not all of them do...i ODed on somethin i took more than 70 pills n well nobody did anythin 4 me at the ER so i guess not they dont all kill u but   the after effects are very unpleasent thats true so i would suggest not to go there...peace

  3. It all depends on how many pills you take and how much time has passed from the time the pills were ingested. Yes its true that most times if you get help fast enough they can save the person but its also true poeple die from overdosing onpills for example Heath Ledger.

  4. It depends on how much you take, what med you take, if you mix it with something else (like alcohol or other meds) and how long it takes you to get help. I know someone who took 300 Valium and didn't die. But usually if you get help fast enough the doctors can help.

  5. No, It doesnt always kill you.  I had a friend try it and he just went to the emergency room and the pumped his stomach and he was fine.  Had to stay in the hospital over night though. BUT Im sure it would have killed him if his mom didnt find him so fast.
