  1. Sure hope not.  I'd have to turn un my wings.

  2. no its not true....

you might be thinking of albino people, as they can have poor eyesight due to lack of pigments and their eyes are either pink or very light grey/blue

and you need to have good eyesight to be a pilot

  3. Never heard that one, I guess if it were an issue, one could use those purple colored contact lenses! Ha!

  4. ok thats bull whoever told you that is mislead. i'm a pilot and i have blue eyes, my dad has been a pilot for 34 years and an airline pilot for 6, he has blue eyes also.

  5. no

  6. That is not true.  Pilots can have any color eyes, as long as their eyesight is acceptable.

    Why would somebody think that?

  7. Not many colors left, are there?

Other than black and brown, what else is there?

  8. huuuuuhhhhhhhhhh

  9. soooo not true

  10. My wife has green eyes and she was training to be a pilot.  It didn't appear to bother her instructor any.

  11. That would be ridiculous.

  12. Pilots can have any color eyes, as long as they aren't colorblind.

  13. not true pilot's can have any eye color as long as they can see

  14. yes ofcourse !

Colors had everything to do with eyesight.

My son has beautiful bue eyes and is a pilot.

  15. not true, and ridiculous to think so.

  16. Green eyes here. 16,000+ hours over a four decade flying career. Never been busted yet for flying while green eyed.

  17. Well seeing as most people have blue or green eyes then that pretty much disqualifies a lot of people, but I have never heard of that.
