    Phil the Greek is 0% Chinese. The confusion no doubt arose from a misunderstanding of a remark in a book by Ivor Golden-Rivett, a fellow officer of Phil in the navy during World War 2. It was not a reference to Phil's racial make up, just that he had reputedly made love to 25% of the Chinese ladies who used to meet ships in Singapore.
