  1. Any upper body exercise will improve your punching power, but if you want to improve punching power the best thing to do is work the heavy bag and perfect your technique, also shadow box with small weights in hands this will develop all muscles required for punching.this is not for speed as myth will have you believe and if you technique is wrong it want matter how strong you are, strength doesn't mean you can punch hard the best at anything is the one who's perfected it the most.

  2. I do both often

they will give you a a stronger punch but it wont matter if you can't land it or if you don't actually hit a bag  you gotta train you fists too

  3. Well it certainly would make you stronger doing the push ups and pull ups a few weeks/months. Well the wider thing really depends on your percentage of body fat. If you have a a good amount of body fat, that fat turns into muscles which leads to a wider back. But really skinny people tend to just get more toned, in order for them to build up bulky muscles, they need to gain some fat first.

  4. ur punch will get stronger, push ups wont make ur back wider at all, but pullups will

  5. I can't see why it wouldn't give you a stronger punch...your arms are doing a lot of work in both push-ups and pull-ups!

  6. It can improve your strength. Which potentially improves your punching power. But you must have the correct technique  of delivering punches properly to generate power you gain by doing pull ups and push ups. Push ups strengthens your triceps and chest.
