I heard that it does..not sure if it's true or not. If you wear lotion with lavender will it help you sleep better? I have a stuffed sheep from bath & body works and its belly is full of lavender beans. Not sure if it's helping me sleep better or not. :/ Anyone..help?!

  1. ya it really does.  i have this spray stuff that illl go get if i cant sleep. haha. and i go to sleep like 10 minutes later or less. and normally it takes me like 1 hour. so yah it does.

  2. I think the scent de-stresses, which can cause you to sleep better.  But I dont think it actually makes you sleep better.

Last year during school I used it and always got a good nights sleep without feeling stressed, but this year I stopped using it and I have been lying for about 1 hour before I can go into a fitful sleep.... so it works for me.

  3. Yeah that helps you.

  4. lavender is a calming scent. i have this lavender eye mask and it relaxes me so quickly. i love the smell!

  5. Personally, I think it's a bunch of nonsense, but it doesn't hurt to try.  If it works for you, then that's great, and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.  Just remember that aromatherapy is not a science, just a theory, and when it comes to sleeping everyone is different.
