Maybe she has a lot going on in her life right now and her writing back lets you know that she wants to stay in touch with you. I'm sure if you were good friends at one time you still are and I have seen friends get back in touch with each other and get married something to do with their job or schooling took them down different life paths for a while. Maybe you should ask your friend again face to face about getting together for lunch or coffee maybe to catch up on old times and new times in each others life. You never know what may happen.
