  1. Not unless you went to a bar and ordered a vodka and red bull.

It might be your bodies reaction to such a large amount of caffeine in a short amount of time, really you're better of with a frappachino from Starbucks.

  2. From the report: MARININSTUTUTE.ORG

Public health and safety officials have become alarmed by the newest entry into the world of alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic energy drinks are prepackaged beverages that contain not only alcohol but also caffeine and other stimulants. Earlier this year, 29 state attorneys general signed a letter to Anheuser-Busch expressing their concern about Spykes, an alcoholic energy drink packaged in colorful 2-ounce bottles with obvious appeal to youth. The objections of law enforcement officials as well as parents and leading public health organizations caused Anheuser-Busch to pull Spykes from the market. But the story does not end there. Many other alcoholic energy drinks are still on the market.

    Ingredients:

A can of Red Bull from the United Kingdom states the ingredients as: Water, sucrose, glucose, sodium citrates, carbon dioxide, taurine, glucuronolactone, caffeine, inositol, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, caramel and riboflavin. In comparison, a can of Sugar Free Red Bull from the United Kingdom states the ingredients as: water, acidity regulator sodium citrates, carbon dioxide, taurine, glucuronolactone, sweeteners (acesulfame K, aspartame), caffeine, inositol, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, thickener xanthan gum, colours (caramel, riboflavin).

Taurine is a naturally occurring organic acid in the human body; although, it is also present in foods like poultry, fish, and scallops. In addition to being an antioxidant, it is mainly utilized by the body during physical exertion and in high stress environments[6]. In its natural form, taurine is derived from animal tissue, having been first isolated from bull (Bos taurus) bile, hence the name "Red Bull"; however, the taurine used in the Red Bull drink is produced synthetically. It is also the first energy drink to list glucuronolactone in its ingredient list. Glucuronolactone is a carbohydrate involved in detoxification. The chemical is naturally occurring in the human body, but is also present in foods like grain and wine.

IF YOU FELT DRUNK, IT WAS MOST LIKELY THE EFFECTS OF THE CAFFEINE AND TAURINE.... YOU JUST GOT A JOLT FROM THE COMBINATION OF INGREDIENTS... LIKE YOUR FIRST CIGARETTE WILL MAKE YOU SICK AND FEEL HIGH.

AFTER ALL THAT, I NEED A REST.... GOOD LUCK   Kyd

  3. You do not feel drunk. Energy drinks do not have alcohol in them. Therefore you are NOT drunk.

They do have a couple of special alcoholic energy drinks but they will not be available with the regular energy drinks. They will be with the beer and alcohol and you would be carded.

  4. Not exactly. Actual energy drinks don't have any alcohol.

However, there are certain types of alcholic beverages that have the same ingredients as energy drinks.

But these are made specifically to keep a person from becoming drunken and tired/sluggish. So basically it enables one to drink longer without feeling the drowzy effects.

It's not used to enhance energy for say a sporting activity.

  5. No, but the effect of too much caffeine in your body may lead to cause to feel dizzy if oyur body doesn't need the extra metabolism boost.

  6. you may be feeling the effects of the sugar and caffiene combination along with some of the other extra things in it...no alcohol though.

Sugar and caffiene both have a different effect on people...are you sensitive to any other energy drinks? You can find out... try NOS it doesn't taste too bad or you can try Monster...
