Is it true that soon in 2008 there will be a price drop for ps3 in canada?

i want to buy either a xbox 360 or a ps3 and if there is a price drop for ps3, which console should i get?

The ps3 is better, you can go online for free (360 needs an $87 adapter, which is more in canada and you have to pay $50 to go online). PS3 has more memory, a 160gb model is on the way in november. PS3 also has rechargable controllers.  The have sixaxis technology and their discs hold 5x and can't be scratched.  PS3 also looks better and they are also very reliable

There wont be a price drop but new versions of the same model. The 40gb for 399 will now have a 80gb hard drive with no backward combatability. There will be a 160gb model that will comes with uncharted drakes fortune and a 70 dollar gift voucher for the playstation store.

I've heard that next month, they will release a new 80 gig model and sell for $400. They are basically just upgrading the memory of the 40 gig ps3. Everything else about it is the same as the 40 gig (only 2 usb ports, no memory card readers, ect.)

As for the 40 gigs, I don't know if they will drop in price, or simply just phase out.
