  1. Yeah they start to fade after like 2 years. So you normally get it re-done. I like tattoos on the inner lip because you have the satisfactory of having a tattoo but it's not out in the open for everyone to see. :]

I think it's that your mouth repairs itself really fast. So the skin wears off and repairs quickly causing the tattoo to fade. Think of how much is rubbing there on your inner-lip, your teeth food, citrus drinks that wear off the skin...

  2. They tend to blur and fade, and sort of turn into a big blob, but you can get them redone and touched up.

  3. yup

and when they do you have to get them redone

well you dont but it looks stupid if you dont cause it never goes away fully parts stay there so its like EH

an i dont know why people get it done there no one really looks inside other peoples mouths do they?

sorry if your getting yours done for saying that lol

  4. hmmm

    good question............

but i dont kno how true that is since most tattoos r permanent

    i mean think about it....

....what would make it go away?

    ur saliva?

over exposure to the sun kan FADE a tattoo

so if the tatt is inside ur lip n there's no exposure to the sun

    how would it fade

thats the only thing i kan think of

  5. It could because of the moisture in your mouth when healing, and of the rubbing over time could make it fade. When it rubs it takes layers of skin away little by little, that's why tattoos fade when you get older.
