  1. no, way

  2. the olympic bid city hasnt even started yet!!

wait till 2009 for the host city for 2016 olympics.

  3. It was a finalist for the 2012 Olympic Games, but for some unknown reason, the SF Mayor's Office and Board of Supervisors told the USOC that San Francisco would withdraw their name for consideration.

The press conference occurred at my place of employment (Accenture, LLP) when the USOC and SF Olympic Bid Committee announced the news of withdrawal.  Sad news, but at least New York and Chicago have a chance, I guess, for 2016.....

  4. lol its not even a candidate city...

  5. If it is im hella going i  hope us men will have great basketball team after lebron and them retire

  6. San Francisco was one of several US cities who bid to be the USOC's official bid representative for 2016. In the end, the USOC voted to offer Chicago as their official 2016 bid city to the IOC.

  7. Nope.

Chicago is a finalist though along with Rio, Madrid, and Tokyo.

In 2009 one of the 4 cities will be chosen.

  8. I certainly hope not.  San Francisco and their "sanctuary city" policies are completely ludicrous and against what 95% of America believes.  Not to mention that Nancy Pelosi is from that legislative district... and boy has she been successful at doing absolutely NOTHING over the last 2 years.

Hopefully they pick a city that is more American.

  9. No, it's not true.

The remaining candidate cities for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games are Chicago, Tokyo, Madrid, and Rio de Janeiro. The final selection won't even be announced until October 2009.

  10. chi city baby!!!
