Is it true that the AP sometimes doesn't have your score on July 1st?

Question

I had a friend last year who called the AP for his scores after the day that they said, and found that only 2 out of his 3 tests were scored. Does this happen often?

I've also heard that the grades are somehow available by phone already (under another question), and I was wondering if that's true? Cuz I'm assuming if it is, then all scores would be there by July 1st.. Thanks! I just don't wanna have to pay the $8 fee twice if they don't have my scores..

I called in today. All (seven) tests of mine already were already scored. From what I've been hearing... AP Japanese and Chinese grades are still on hold.. besides those two most should be out already.

I checked their website and they said that they would have to scores by mid-July.  I'm still waiting too cause I took the english and biology tests.
