  1. Actually it was a document that Clinton possessed during his time at the white house.

  2. Yes, it is. And I see the bush apologists are still trying to blame President Clinton, and denying the reality that bush WAS given a nice thick dossier about the intended terrorist attack.

Oh, and the PLANES WERE MENTIONED, TOO.

    Just ask Condi.

  3. I knew about Osama Bin Laden before 9/11.

They may have received a report that he would strike, but it has been widely known for a while he does not like Americans and will do something about it.

If you are hinting that the Bush Admin. knew all about the attack before hand you're crazy. I am sure they didn't send copies of the plane tickets and their flight plans, it wouldn't have been as easy as you would want to conspire it was.

  4. It was no secret why do you think Clinton bombed the aspirin factory in sudan   http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu.iZvr5I3i...

  5. Yes, totally true.

The following is a transcript of the August 6, 2001, presidential daily briefing entitled Bin Laden determined to strike in US. Parts of the original document were not made public by the White House for security reasons. An exert

"Al Qaeda members -- including some who are U.S. citizens -- have resided in or traveled to the U.S. for years, and the group apparently maintains a support structure that could aid attacks.

A clandestine source said in 1998 that a bin Laden cell in New York was recruiting Muslim-American youth for attacks.

We have not been able to corroborate some of the more sensational threat reporting, such as that from a ---- service in 1998 saying that Bin Laden wanted to hijack a U.S. aircraft to gain the release of "Blind Sheikh" Omar Abdel Rahman and other U.S.-held extremists.

Nevertheless, FBI information since that time indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York"

  6. so did the Clinton Administration. he had 6-8 times to kill bin laden . read the book, "Losing bin Laden: How Bill Clinton's Failures Unleashed Global Terror," by Richard Miniter, and then repost your question with more accuracy

  7. They were probably given some clues that led them to perceive that he might be plotting something. But how are you actually going to know for sure. The United States gets many terrorist threats from countries and it's hard to know which ones are true or not. That's why they always try to take as much precautionary measure as they can. To blame the Whole thing on George Bush is just stupidity by you people. There are other people in the White House that have to make these decisions and to blame it on one person is just ignorant. Remember, this is a democracy, not a dictatorship. In order for a demand or action to take place, it has to go through a whole process by the government/congress before it can be followed through.

  8. Clinton knew about it and decided not to go after Bin Laden, so yes, I guess Bush probably knew about it also.  Unless Clinton didn't think it was important enough to mention to him.

  9. Of course it is. But without details, what could anybody do about it?

  10. Who do you think was behind the first bombing of the WTC? The USS Cole? The embassies in Africa? All in the 1990's. He's been determined to strike Americans in and out of the U.S. for a while.

You can thank Clinton for not taking him out when he had the opportunity. No less than three times we had him "in our sights" and could not take him because of diplomatic reasoning.
