Is it true that the California Veterans college tuition waiver program also will pay for you to get your masters and doctorate degrees if you continue at a California public school? My cousin in the navy said this. Is it true?

  1. I think so, but be aware that for you to be eligible you need to be a dependent of a disabled or deceased veteran and have to make less than $10,000 a year (if you're the disabled veteran's child). And it also doesn't give you a free ride, it just knocks off the mandatory fees. It will still be up to you to pay for books and such.
