There is a news report that says the White House provided talking points to FNC. Is this report true?

  2. The allogation was that Bill O'Reilly got "talking points" from the White House.... The Press Secretary has subsequently admitted he mis-spoke.....that NO talking points were provided FOX news.....as to Sean Hannity.....he could use some talking points from somebody.....his comments and rants are shallow and boring..... and I am a conservative

This information is from Scott McClennan, the former Bush Press Secretary.  Evidence seems to support that this is likely the case, based on the FNC use of the exact same phrases and wording as the people who were responsible for promoting the Bush agenda and policies.  Although, it is fairly well known that probably all recent White Houses used similar mechanisms to try and get the word out.  The difference is that Roger Ailes and FNC have no qualms about objectivity and went right along and tried to make sure their anchors and commentators used these talking points.
